Any body know why the kit went from $750ish to the same price as the OME kit? Doesn't look like anything changed unless they are including the new coilovers that were recently linked, but I don't see that in the photos....Nor read it in the descriptions. I was hoping to get this kit but for the same price as the tried and trued OME its tough lol

Anyone looking to get the Foam Cell Pro's that are about to come out....?

I'm really debating getting them for my 2014, just seems they are a super-sized version of the regular foam cells.

    Thoughts?

For those who are confused on the nitro vs foam cell, here is a video from Ironman explaining it pretty well.

I switched to ORIs up front. Found out my annoying squeak was due to the spring contacting the strut. Most likely my fault but I need to take them apart to really tell.

I haven't had a squeak. Just some other issues. But, they should be calling me today, and I'll update all of you with the news. At least this interested in an upgrade.

Yeah, my truck is squeak free since the switch and probably would be if the coil didnt hit the strut. That said I am really pissed at the poor powder coating. Its a nice product that was dressed cheaply. My passenger coil is completely rusted and passenger is half way rusted. Id love to recommend the product but with the price hike...probably should go with OME so you don't have to have them powder coated upon arrival.

My rear is holding up fine, probably going to want an AAL once I get my rear bumper from pelfrey.

With all that said, PM me still as Id like to see what the new deal is. I won't be purchasing, just curious.

So, the wait is ending! For anyone looking for a fully built, adjustable coilover for under $800, you can start ordering from iron man America next week! The foam cell pros that I linked a few pages back are finally going to be here.

Just got off the phone with Mark, who runs IM America is very excited to get these and start putting them on the road! I should be getting mine within the next 2 weeks, and will open a new thread with reviews and all that fun stuff after I get them myself!

So, the foam cell pro (The new coilover) is like the foam cells in this video. As you see between the oil/gas and the foam cell, the foam cells have a higher temperature tolerance. Not to mention they won't have any cavitation at higher use/temperatures like typical shocks can get.

The foam cell pro's are adjustable form 0-2.5". They also have been put through the ringer, of not just the lab, but in the field. These are going to be priced much lower than other adjustable coilovers.

I realized the other day that I'm approaching 20k mi. since installing my lift. No squeaks or anything like that. I just wish I had gotten a full leaf pack instead of the AAL.

    Hey Guys,

So glad to read through this and see all the positive feedback - not to mention the anticipation for our Foam Cell pros!

The pros are an awesome shock - I was one of the lucky ones to get to do the product testing in Australia!

I'm sure you guys will absolutely love them!

    Cheers,
