Got Back last night at Midnight from Durango. Saturday was a warm blue bird day and no crowds. Sunday was a Powder day with 4.5" of fresh powder and mixed snow and sun. Monday was Colder and cloudy and not a soul there. I went on a few runs without seeing another person. My younger brother and my dad had a good time. The 3 of us all snowboard. My mom went out Ice Fishing because she doesn't ski.

Waxed and tuned the boards the first night because I didn't have time time before I left.

    Thanks man!

I don't really like riding in AZ unless a ton of friends are going and I am the only one not. If I am going to ride for multiple days I'll just drive to Durango since my family lives up there. This year I got a 50/50 card that makes my lift tickets $50 a day at Purg. Next month I am going to Telluride because I work for a Travel company and get cheap hotels and stuff. Also my company will reimburse my Lift tickets. :)

I agree. I only ride az well because im 32 miles from the resort. But thats still just to keep my level of skill up. We did wolf creek for 9 days last year. That was a blast. Year before was wolf creek and mt hood. Year before that was mt hood and bachelor. Im skipping the out of state trips this year to save some money. Next year is hood. Tahoe. And hoping mammoth will be included.
And your company reimburses you for lift tickets too! Talk about no excuse not to go boarding on a good mountain. Enjoy telluride. I have yet to ride there and finally just visited this last August. It was awesome

I want to ride mammoth but with the lift tickets at like 120 a day I doubt that will happen any time soon. A couple friends and I have a wolf creek trip in the works though.

I get discounted tickets at mammoth. Not much but it will basically cover my lunch hahaha. Wolf creek is fucking awesome. I love that mountain. Especially their back country!

You were never that good at riding in the first place Mr. Flailing arms :p

Yeah I stay out of the park. You bust your tailbone twice in the same spot on a rail you quickly learn lol

I stick to all mountain and hit natural jumps and logs now. starting to get more into riding in the trees a little bit.

No idea how you do that with a 152. Lol. My board is terrible in anything other than groomed runs. And back country isn't my thing. Boring IMO. I used to ride all mountain and back country.. My other boards were set up for those conditions.

You road fast down main trails but you arms were never by your sides. Not flailing like those inflatable guys that blow in the wind lol

If I remember right you aren't the best on moguls and got semi stuck on the side of some run for a short stint when you were looking for us. You were gone most of the time and it was Garrett, Pat and myself fucking around that day and throwing snowballs at people.

I ride a 154 as my all mountain board. Natural jumps and log rails with laid over tree rainbow rails! Thats where heaven on the mountain is!
