    Yes, traced out the same 2.25" onto it with the same contours. Then used my 20v Dewalt Grinder with a cut off wheel. Before I cut, it matched up perfectly with the lines, gaps and fenders/flares. Now that is cut, still looks great. Check my build thread in my signature area for before and after shots.


    The ARB bumpers look like they belong on the vehicles they are designed for in my opinion. Add the rubber bumps on the front and it's a great balance of form and function. Color match. If your doing any front or rear bumpers, masks it match your vehicle. Leave the swing out black.

    Well, that's my plan. I looked at the all pro. Liked it. Just didn't have the finished, well thought out features and design that the arb did. Make sure you order the fog light version.

    Afterthoughts on the arb though.

    Would have liked a slightly redesigned winch area.

    Recovery points

    Have the air holes in the front slightly wider to accommodate the slimline single row led light bars. Or a cutout to accommodate them dimensionally somewhere.

    Make it out of aluminum. There is a company out there that copied the design and sells them. They changed the plastic cups to metal for the running and fog lights. Recovery points and bumps if I remember correctly.

    Oh, that front license plate flip for winching. That should come with the bumper. I can't ever find it anywhere.

    These are all trivial. It is great and I like it alot. Has held up well with all the recoveries I perform and limited of road time. We still use it as a food staging area and a tool bench.

    Wtf. I'm over here trying to figure out how to run a longer 600 lb coil with my upcoming LT but jeez maybe I'll be just fine? My full plate bumper will be done next month and I'm gonna be running a winch. Plus I have full skids....

    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    I do all the time. Plate bumper, winch and full skids with allpro +2 lt kit on 35's. Fenders are bent from the tires hitting haha.

    FWIW my prerunner has 700lbs. coils with only a plate bumper and winch, and has no problem stuffing the tars.

    The diff is pretty strong in these trucks, especially with aftermarket gears. The weak link is the cv axles which is what you want to be replacing on the trail, not a diff.
