    Depends on how you use your truck and where you live. I can damn near boil 75-90 in the desert in a very short amount of time.

    I run 75-140 for my truck, front and rear (and for the record, also what ECGS recommends).

    San Diego climate and its 99% a daily driver so nothing wild.

    But yeah you probably should run the higher grade stuff as you're boosted, heavier and hard as hell on it.

    negative effects of the higher grade in daily applications? harder shifts?

    No. They have the same cold weather viscosity (75) and perform exactly the same, but the 140 gets you a higher hot temperature rating.

    Good to know as it was never recommended as an option.

    Ive also never seen it in any auto parts store. 85w-140 i think but never 75w-140

    Lucas, Mobil 1, Castrol, RedLine, RP, Amsoil all have 75-140. I've bought Lucas from vatozone on more than one occasion.

    I am looking it up now, maybe since I wasent looking for it I skimmed over.. Most places I buy from are pretty wiped out of gear oil in the first place too. odd how that is.

    Since grenading my rear gears and destroying my drive shaft in jan 2013 176k miles I have been weird about changing the fluid, I think in the 20k or so miles I have changed it 2 times from standard to finally synthetic.

    Its not been changed since may 2014 5k miles ago to valvoline

    Ordered some D ring isolators....I don't mind the noise, but I do mind when my paint is chipping off of my bumper....A fellow member recommended magnetic tape, but that didn't work so well :(

    I changed my front diff last week. But was wondering if LSD addictive is required? I know some rear diffs require 3-4oz. was wondering if we needed it for the front? I just used Mobil 1 only no addictive.

    I bought a set of the rubber washer isolators. It was a pack of 8 but I need 6 to make them work. So one side is good but the other still rattles around. I ended up taking the shackles off instead lol

    Why the new hub flanges? I still haven't replaced my wheel bearings.... Can't wait to get all the maintenance done when I get back to mine in July.
