    Killer,
You remember a part # and has it got louder with time if you have had it on a while? Thanks

Part #17744. I have had the muffler on since march this year. It hasn't really gotten any louder. It has a low tone at idle, kind of a raspy tone tone under acceleration, not to mention fairly loud, and sounds stock while cruising.

Yours would probably be just slightly louder than mine with 3" tubes in and out and it shows a higher flow rate. Thanks for the info.

How does the dynomax turbo compare with the Ultraflow SS, performance wise?

I guess I'm a wimp. After getting back from the first road trip of 1200+ miles since installing the DynaMax I put the stock muffler back on today. By my previous research it appeared that the DynaMax was the quietest of the others like Flomasters and Magnaflows so didn't feel like throwing more money at it.

I'd run the "Super Turbo" 2400 miles and at some speeds it wasn't really that bad however at certain rpm's it was just downright annoying even with the tunes cranked way up. I haven't pulled it yet, but feel that on a long trip pulling the trailer at about 3000 rpm in 4th it would suck.

Truthfully, I couldn't feel any difference in performance driving home except it being a lot quieter in the cab.

I got 19.6 mpg average on this trip. I'll compare with the stock muffler and let you know the difference.

Hell, I've had more expensive lessons. ;)

I wonder how much of a sound difference there would be between the 2.5" and the 3"?
