Been in my moms BMW all day trying to diagnose a rattle. It took forever to dismantle the center console. If I step foot in that car again I will throw up. Which I will because I'm about to bring it back to her at work for my truck. Mine takes all of 10 minutes to dismantle and clean. I'm beginning to understand the benefits of simplicity.

    Still 2016 Tacoma FTW.

Prediction: You find said rattle, correct it, put everything back together. A week later she tells you that the rattle has moved.

    Lol, rattles. Thats pretty cute.

Tell me when the grease in your speedometer is old and freezes up when it's really cold out. Then when you start driving makes this grinding noise that vibrates the whole instrument cluster and increases in pitch and loudness with increased speed. Sounds like the noise those wind up toys make but multiplex by 20

You think that sucks? I have a dog hair on the INSIDE of the instrument panel. JUST ONE.

    That's it, sell the truck.
Take it apart. Change the led back light while it's open.

I like my dash lights. Because 2013.

I remember those days. A lot of my best memories involve trucks with dead bugs behind the panel, and/or shit tons of dirt.

I have a huge stain on mine from where coffee spilt on it and melted the plastic. So it's hazy.

YES!!! MINE DOES THE SAME THING!

You have to let it warm up for 30 minutes and won't go away until you stop.

It's an easy fix, if you ever switch your instrument cluster lights behind the dash to LEDs then find some of the correct grease and put it on the attachment for the speedo cable. When I put my lights in it hadn't started yet, and it doesn't get that cold often enough for me to care about it here.

I've got to do that. It was below zero here for a week and a half.

    Lift will be ordered tomorrow.
