What are your guys opinions on keeping the stock wheels and putting different tires on instead of doing wheels and tires?
Also, what are the stock wheel size? (17x8?)

Okay so after driving around today, I actually do like the muffler. The reason why I didn't before was because my friends, who both drive GMC's, said my truck sounds like a ricer, but that's only because they're used to V8's and diesels.
Tonight or tomorrow, I'm changing it up again. Instead of the pipe dumping right after the muffler, I'm bolting an extension piece where the tip is and then running the old back pipe (cut from the OEM muffler) from that. Hopefully that will change the sound slightly and will solve the horrible droning in the cab.

Glad it sounds better! Stock OR wheels are 16x8, sport wheels are 17x8 (I believe)

Since mine is a TRD sport, it would be 17x8?

Last night, I did what I was planning on doing which was: bolting an extension piece where the tip is and then running the old back pipe (cut from the OEM muffler) from that.
After I completed that, the sound is a tad bit deeper and doesn't drone as bad, which I like. As of right now, I am pleased with it.

Next project, tinting the tail lights which I will do when my lights for the tail lights get here.

Any reason why my front passenger side tire is loosing air pressure so quickly? I run all the tires at 26-27 PSI. I'm having to fill up the front tires every week.

Its a simple spacer kit so if you are going to off road very much I wouldn't. I'd go for a coil over if you have the money. Fox makes a nice adjustable one for a good price, the ride will be infinitely better and you don't need a sway bar relocation. Or just take off the sway bar.

Will I be able to use these 2" coil overs on the 2.25" leveling kit I have picked out? What are your thoughts about Bilstein 5100's because I've heard a lot of good things about them?

Im not exactly sure. I'd stay away from any spacers if possible, just use the adjustable coil overs to level it. My bilsteins are nice on the road but off road they are pretty stiff, im switching to OME 885's soon

    So quick little update...

    Got some new lights:
    LED license plate lights (5500k)
    LED back up lights (5500k)
    LED rear turn signal (red)

Also, I have been thinking about tint... nothing dark, just 17% on the front to match the back windows and nothing on the windshield (maybe 5% strip)

Got the slow leak in my front tires fixed; they found some plastic/organic 'stick' on the inside of the passenger tire.
Wheels and tires are still a while away. 18x9 KMC Slides are now added to my options list for wheels.

Probably not going to do Ready-Lift Leveling kit; I'm going to spend a little more for a quality offroad leveling kit (that will be installed with the wheels and tires)

Condensation in headlights has gone away; I left my truck in friends garage for a couple of days while waiting for the secondary air pump (accidentally broke it while installation and also broke a plastic screw installing CAI ) Intake is stock as of the moment

Also have started to think about an audio system (JL Audio). The stock Entune one is awesome, don't get me wrong, but the highs and lows suck and the bass isn't up to par in my opinion.

Its killing me not being able to make my truck look better...

Matching tint is 20% for rear factory. I'd go 5% rear and 20% front with 35% windshield

Are you getting bilstein 5100's and using stock coils? Or what coils?

Not sure I understand your question. I was going to get Bilstein 5100 Coilovers and use the coils that come on them.
I'm a newbie to lifts so help is much appreciated.

Okay. Correct me if I am wrong... on a Tacoma, suspension wise, all there are front coil overs, rear springs, control arms, and leafs. Am I missing anything?

Tie rods too, but if you are talking about lifting then you just need to worry about front struts (shocks), coils, and upper control arms (UCA's). Which bilstein coils are you looking at (post a link).

ahh I see. Those are toytec springs with bilstein 5100 shocks under them, also known as a coil over. I would highly suggest new UCA's, with those you can get by with light racing UCA's since they are not extended travel. Also do not crank those up past 2 inches of lift, the ride will be to stiff with preload (stretching a coil out).

Here is the cheapest place to get those UCA's, $375
