Do you have to cut the crossmember on BDS lifts? I'm assuming its 6"

Will do. I am currently working on the tube from the fender to the intake but I am pretty close to getting that done as well. I am currently waiting on the silicone couplers to come in tomorrow to make sure I make the proper diameter to fit inside.

How easy/costly would it be to duplicate with your methods? It seems like there are quite a few people that would be interested if it is easy and cost effective.

Hey guys, if anyone is interested in a new setup, iron man has their new fly adjustable coilover coming to the US next week. I'll be getting a first set from them, and doing some reviews. Full price on these put together is only 785.

When I get to the comp I'll send you the info on them. Adjustable up to 2.5" though. No resi. But built to beat the shit out of without killing them.

To run 285's without much trimming you need at least 2.25-2.5, so that is a lot of preload.. Interested to see what you think though. Going to be gettin Icons (as of right now) within a month probably so this may change my mind

It's something I could probably do a few of them, but it depends on the material. Carbon is expensive, glass might be better in the long run as weight is not a factor. The infusion process is nice, Because less resin is used and the part comes out very strong and lighter than a wet lay-up. For me, it's a time restriction really. The shop is almost a two hour drive for me and my time is limited there, I have a ton of work to do on engine related items and would honestly probably pawn this off on our "glass guy" in his spare time.

Well I am thinking I will be done with the mock up on Fri or Sat since I will get the couplers tomorrow and probably a "days" more work to make sure everything is right. I totally understand that you have other things to work out.

The only down side, which might still work out fine, is that after I glassed this mold (which is specifically formed for air path) I was going to make a few additions to the glass so that it is follows the lines of the truck and to make it a little more aerodynamic.

Just let me know what you think and maybe an estimated time frame.

People have gone to 4 wheel parts, but also any repair shop can do it. Just bring the parts to them and ask them to install, all you pay is a labor fee. Up here in Snohomish we have Olympic 4x4, not the cheapest to get parts from but I know they have a $75 an hour labor fee, just bring them the parts.
