Naw. Still have to remove the spindles so they can be put in a press. Just alleviates the need to press the bearings off the hub flange to re-use it.

    Hub flange is 4350235170

    Bearing is 9036954002

There's a whole assortment of other parts in there including the ABS ring, oil seals, etc. Got them at Camelback:

That's super slick. Maybe like a tinted black so you can keep the brushed metal look like this?

Don't know about an update for the ECM, but you could give a "performance" chip a try. I got one and while its not gonna make you a supercharged engine, it does seem to help make the idle muuuuuccchhhh smoother and more efficient especially when the engine fan kicks on at start.

Thanks for sharing. Man that looks good. I'll have to figure out a mount, not the handiest with metal. Looks like pretty thin metal so I'm guessing I could bend on the straight edge of my work bench.

X2 PB blaster your rear shackle bolts for a day or two before the install. Also recommend installing the extended brake line before the install. This way you can easily remove shocks and leaves on both sides, and drop the whole axle for a much easier install. This way you don't have to do that scary shit with a bottle of scissor jack.

Then, load your bed up and drive 1,000 miles. At least, that's what I did.

All of this. Definitely want to install brake line first. I've found dropping the axle on short stands keeps it from shifting as much, or at least as unpredictably.

I did mine out of some 10ga. I bought from Lowe's. Made a simple press brake using a couple pieces of 1x2 hardwood, quick clamps and the garage floor. Bent it then drilled some holes for the screws and painted it.

Not actually today, but recently. Replaced axle bearing and seals.
