Its not as bad as i thought it would be. Bumps are a little rougher in the front and the front end wonders around a little bit more it seems..or maybe thats just me trying to drive at 230am lol.

Doing a trail run saturday so ill let ya know how she handles after that too.

Looks good! I wanted an ARB bumper but I saw a picture of one and it looked like it stuck out from the truck really far, kind of turned me off them. Yours doesn't look like that at all though, when do you find out if you're coming back to NS?

Ive always prefered the look of allpro/cbi bumpers never really a huge fan of the arb ones, but for the price and actually seeing it on my truck its grown a lot on me. Some of the pictures make it look like its out farther than it really is. I got my kc daylighters mounted up tonight. Im making a build thread here shortly check there for the pictures.

I had the skype interview on tuesday and they said theyd know by next week at the latest. So im hoping i get the call tomorrow.

The ARB is tested airbag compliant, so that automatically gets my vote.

Ah man, my last year at Dalhousie I commuted from Kentville, when I was writing my thesis. I liked the sort of "zen" of not being able to deal with emails and such when I was driving, but a lot of the time it was a huge pain in the ass.

The tradeoff to a long drive is not paying rent. After driving around calgary for 4 years the drive to the city wont seen bad at all. Plus my dad lives in windsor so if the roads arnt great i can stop there if i need to.

Yes the airbag feature is very nice! Also tested for kangaroos so deer should be no problem at all, ill still get out of the way for a moose though.

Fuse if youre in cowtown saturday you should come for the trail run at lost knife.

    Thats a legit trade off!

I'm pretty much on the Yukon border right now, working. I think I'm going to be up here a month or two, so no trail run for me.

There is no such thing as a non-airbag compliant bumper. Airbags dont deploy based on impacts they deploy based on how fast a vehicle accelerates/decelerates using an accelerometer and math.
Thats ARB propaganda to sell bumpers. They should use the selling point that their bumpers are well used and loved many instead.
