They definitely down make them like they use to with those models. Still get a semi every time I see that black 1985 SR5 4x4 in Back To The Future

After driving mine while I was at basic, my Dad bought a 1984 4WD SR5 very similar to that truck. Little walk down memory lane.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I like the '16. I dig the concept of taking the different makes (GMC headlights, Fusion grille and Mitsu style taillights) and shoving it right back down the publics throats with a superior product. I like the attitude. I just know this is gonna be good. Makes me want to trade in...almost.

I definitely dig the heck out of the 16. Everything I want in a truck(albeit, I am going on faith that it does in fact have more power and better fuel economy) aggressive looks, looks to be a lot more creature comforts and of course, Toyota reliability.. Definitely planning on picking one up in the fall..

Personally, I'd give my left nut for a tan colored, 2016 TRD Pro Offroad. Unfortunately, I called the local dealer, and they wouldn't accept the offer :)

What is it with people and that tan? I don't get it. It looks like what the government paints the walls of buildings it tortures people in. I work in one. Staring at that paint color is torture!

Depends on where you live, I guess. In the very dry southwest, we really have no worries about frame rust.

Not just the AF, either. The VA has it in a few data centers. It must come on GSA special. I understand the IRS building next to us is even more hideous, but hey, it's the IRS. I'd hate to see a car or truck the color of that heinous blue cubicle fabric, too. Oh, wait, the 2015 Camry hybrid has it!

Marine Corps has it also on many of their buildings. Gives me flash backs of boot camp when I see that color.

I'm always amazed at how the 3rd gen looks so bad ass In some pics, and really wierd in others. Then
I realized it looks really good when your looking down at the truck from above, but at eye level the proportions look really off. Which would explain why most promotional vids of the truck, show it in an almost birds eye view.

That tan color sure beats the blues...

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
For the tenth thousandth time, it isn't a second gen taco! New engine, new transmissions, different frame, different rear end, new interior. The only thing that is a carryover is the 2.7 but that's it, and it will probably be replaced in the next couple years, I'm betting the 3.5 V6 will have better mileage numbers than the current 2.7 but that's my opinion.

What exactly is that you're trying to say? IMO, you're being a bit vague.
