I just lit a frito on fire.

    Never heard of that.

    I wasn't terribly impressed.

I think I'll stick with gas.

A 9 volt battery and a piece of steel wool is what I keep in the truck. In separate containers, of course. More reliable than many other options of fire starter and less risk of lighting yourself on fire.

True but most batteries have a shelf life of 5 years. And I go through my bug-out kits more often than that.

You are hard to impress :D I like the Scoops, more fuel.

It just might save your life someday. Plus they can be eaten for extra energy so you can get more lost.

If the hippies push us toward full ethanol, then we'd be able to drink my firestarter....

Drink enough and you won't care that you're lost or hungry :D

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
So, next Mod day we tackle the Flame Thrower Truck Mod?

I think Rock Therapy just pegged the entertainment limit!

As long as it's not my truck, it will probably be a smouldering wreck anyways.
