okay thank you. While I was waiting, I looked at UCA's and I found Light Racing as well. So since I am trying to level my truck, all I should need is UCA's and the coilovers?

Now thinking about it I would hold off on UCA's, since you only want to level your truck you only need about an inch to 1.5 inches of lift. I would wait and see how it handles and how the alignment is with stock UCA's first.

But yes only coil overs and possibly UCA's.

Are you going to do an add a leaf at all to lift the rear?

Okay thank you that answers a lot of questions. But no, not planning on it but if I do, it will be a 1 1/2" leaf.

You should be fine with stock UCA's up to 2 inches of lift, any over that and you'll need new ones. I am at 1.75 in the front on stock UCA's, handles pretty good on the highway, not as good as stock though.

Oh wait a minute, I was just looking over those coil overs. You do not want those if you just want to level your truck. Those are not adjustable, they provide 3 inches of lift. You want adjustable coilovers, 3 inches is way to high.

I highly recomend these, they are a bit more expensive but they will ride better than stock and they are adjustable. Plus keep your stock UCA's.

Scroll down to the Fox 2.0 CO's with IFP, third one down

I would still go with the Fox coil overs. They are the same price, plus they are rebuildable. So in 70k miles send them into fox and for about $200 they rebuild them and its like a brand new shock. Plus the valve timing is a lot better and the ride will be better. Go with Fox or Icon if you have the money, so worth it.

Okay then I might as well go with that. Could you link me to rear Fox Shocks that wouldn't add any lift to the back?

No rear shocks add lift, but these will work for you. Only reason the front ones add lift is because it stretches out the coil spring (also called preloading), rear shocks can't do that.

Okay good to know, thanks. SO since I got all of that figured out, how does this setup sound to level my truck and fit 265/70r17 Duratracs?:
Front 2.5" Fox Coilovers (without reservoirs)
    Rear 0-1" Fox Shocks

You can go with the 2.5" Fox coil overs but you don't need them. The next one down the page is the Fox 2.0 that I was talking about, a bit cheaper and since you don't go off road much and flex the truck out, you don't need the 2.5", just the 2.0" would do fine.

The reason people get 2.5" coil overs is because that extra half inch lets a lot more oil through the shock allowing it to cool more. So like me I go on trails and very long forest service roads with a lot of washboard, I need that extra bit to cool the shock. Seems like you don't do much off road so you are fine with a 2.0".

Other than that sounds like a good setup!

If you do get the 2.5" do not get extended travel, then you need uniball uca's which are $600+ alone

Yeah I wasn't going to get the extended travel. I was going to get the 2.5" standard travel without the reservoirs. I'm going to get the 2.5" because even though I do drive on the road the majority of the time, I do enjoy taking my truck offroad whenever I get the chance.

Alright your choice, just don't crank them up to high. Now you are almost in the same boat as me, I am trying to decide between Icon and Fox. Icons have digressive valve timing (start out stiff and the faster you go they get softer, great for highway driving and desert racing) while Fox and King are progressive valve timing (start out soft and faster you go they stiffen up)

I'd get new UCA's then. And get 285's, 265 duratracs will look to small

Okay yeah you're right. I just researched some and found that you can fit 265/70r17 on a stock truck. So 285/70r17 will fit (a little rub ain't hurt nobody) and on tirerack, the 285's are $208 a tire so it turns out to be about the same price as the 265's so that's good :)
