    Morning all.

3.5 hrs and I'm off until Tuesday night. :woot:

 Nice mission. Have a safe flight.

If I remember correctly, mine is a little Poulan. I don't do much heavy stuff and my neighbor gave it too me when he moved to lower 48 six years ago. I haven't actually seen it for a couple years, but I'm pretty sure it's in my son's shed at his house.

EDIT: He has the fire pit at his house. :)

Glad you're healing. Don't get too carried away with the chainsaw. ;)

Have a safe trip. Watch out for them city dudes. ;)

I hear ya. How did the disgusting electric problem pan out the other day?

    Rescue pups!!

    Rob:
Had the misfortune to watch a TYV show about repopping planes in Alaska. TV sure does like to make all people in Alaska look like degenerates. One of the commercials on that channel was a promo sensationalizing street racing. New low quality in TV programming.

    Morning Tom.

I'm on a personal boycott of ALL Alaska based reality TV.

And I blame Sarah for dragging us into the spotlight ... and McCain for giving her the opportunity.

    :annoyed:

Gonna need another cup of coffee...

Tacoma World is moving slow for me right now.

I never understood the fascination with Ms. Palin. In my book she is a quitter and gets no respect from me. Glad she is not in the military or law enforcement. I would hate to get into a fight and expect her to have my back.

Good morning one and all! It's a little wet here today, but it's fairly warm out.

I'm heading down to the shop to work on giving myself a double hernia for my birthday. I thought I would have one by Christmas, but no luck yet. Exercise is a pain in the butt, the temporary high is nice, but it still is a pain in the butt. If I was not so pig headed I would just take the statins.

I'm 10 months into what appears to be a life sentence of working out rather than taking the statins. The good new is, 3 more days until my weekend.

Take care, stay safe and good work on the dog rescue, kitchen remodel, yada, yada, yada.

Morning Everyone ...had the opportunity to drive a new Nissan Frontier for the dealer yesterday. It was pretty nice, but it wasn't my Tacoma :). Call me impartial but the Tacoma handles a lot better and is a tad bit smaller :). I will keep the Tacoma .

    Hi Ken
Well after repairing five wired in the trunk and replacing fuses and running the car over every frost heave for 4 hours, I sent it.
    Couldn't reproduce anything after.
Like anything else, it's a crap shoot. You can only repair what you have interpreted and evaluated. Elect crap is non linear and does not follow reasoning.

The best part is I got a dam tundra after with every light in the dash on.
Been a bad week for me. Had communication buss issues with no speedo and 4 ecu's not showing on the scan.
    I hate my job.....
Got into it and I had a few ideas. Tested about 40 wires to eliminate shorts and ended up finding the abs ecu had locked up. Reconnected everything and reset and brought the ecu back. Working good at this time but If it happens again will need a 1500 dollar part.
    I hate my job.....

Sorry about the crappy week Mike. Relax this weekend. Maybe put a coat of wax on the bike while listening to some music and enjoying a beverage. I assumed that you have a heater in your garage.

A long time ago I sort of felt the same way about my job. I looked at all the tasks I had to do associated with my job and decided which one was the toughest task. Thought about the task and came to the conclusion that the task was easy. Once my mind processed that the hardest job I had was easy the I hate my job attitude was gone forever.

That being said the environment for the job is another mindset altogether. I, like you, cannot stand to work in a filthy bug infested or crap infested environment. I kept a list of all the homes that I never ever wanted to work in again, I was a telephone repairman at the time. If dispatch gave me a repair at one of those homes I would tell them that after the job I would need to go home, shower and change, or make it my last job of the day. I could legally do this under the union contract.

You on the other hand have no option for the filthy infested vehicles that you must work on from time to time so I feel your pain.

I know where your coming from Mike:(. Fortunately I had enough age to throw in the towel on my job. I am still busy with other projects but happy:D. Hope your weekend gives you a chance to relax and clear your mind. Take care and enjoy the weekend
