Left the truck like this last night. Going to tack in the rear hangers this morning.

    4b26528a835ede27f837da0382f2c494_b309826b13290adf8b3a983b043d49bcc6ff67e8.jpg

I have a concern though. I'm trying to get three inches of lift out of a five inch spring. The plan is to put try the hangers with the shackles vertical at full droop and see how it settles out. I'm thinking that's going to push the at rest angle to far towards horizontal. If that's the case I'll have to move the hanger backwards. Which will probably mean too much of a negative angle at droop.

Guess I'll find out soon enough. I'm using a six inch shackle.

longer shackle will give you more lift too. Although, like you said you will have to move the hanger again to keep a good angle. 45* angle at ride height is perfect.

Its just a universal kit. Your still going to need to work out all your numbers and actually fit everything under your truck.

I disagree. What battlement fab has done and those dudes running the radius ultra 4 buggy... Looks great. Yeah probably needs bushings pretty often but a lot easier to build and package. Probably have better road manners too and still have plenty of travel.

Yeah i know that, but just wondering if it comes with everything needed?

Really not looking forward to having to do all the math and figure out how to make it work best.

Ok. I have some initial results. This is with two leafs out of the four.

    Shackle at ride height. 9403d738a6c80fcbedcc22d8b53b83c8_ac6982ea44fddb29088599e3317d7b4d3ee03380.jpg

At full droop, but not forced droop. It's a little negative, think it'll work?

    8cd44c74cbd3a882f0d69981a211f610_552fb535420d2ab765dfacd9a429029bf17e92bc.jpg

The springs are w shaped at ride height. I'm thinking I may need to add a leaf back in.

Is there anything I can do about the lead separation?

    Added a third leaf.

    Much better!

Does this negative shackle angle scare anyone? I can move the hanger forward without too much difficulty.

I'd run it, very few situations well make your rear flex that hard.

I think that looks fine. It'll basically always have a little negative on full droop or forced... Definitely keep all those springs in there though.

This is what you don't want.

Welding it up now. Thanks guys.

Ended up running three leafs. With four I was way too high in the rear. Might have to put something a little more solid up front if I want to run all four leafs.

Move the hanger forward 1 inch so the shackle is vertical and put a 4th leaf in.

I don't have the height in the front to run four leafs. Looked like a hillbilly with mud tires in the back and street tires up front.

I would still move the shackle hangar that little bit forward. Shackle should be vertical at full droop. 45 degree shackle angle is just a target to shoot for, Don't need to be dead on.

Well, it's a bit late to move it now. We'll just have to see how it behaves. I can make new hangers down the road if I run into issues.

Picked up some 39.5's. Hopefully the front springs will settle a little after they break in.

I didn't balance the wheels and tires so it shakes pretty good and the full hydro is still sketchy not to mention my seat is just sitting on the floor haha. The backspacing on the wheels is too high and I'm rubbing my springs pretty good. The wheels are only temp till I can build some beadlocks
