Yeah just do it on pavement when you're in a parking lot somewhere or whatever.

Ok so 32" on the truck?

    Your spare measured 33"?
    That's interesting to know

    Thanks!

    That is correct.

Like I said though, I just measured quick with a tape and eye balled it. Ill bust out a straight edge a bit later, and see if anything changes.

    EDIT:
went back and everythings the same

I find the Cooper 255 measurement really intriguing because of the measurement of the spare. The spare he said was 33 and some change but on the truck was 32 so the weight of the truck pushed it down an inch or so. Im wondering if higher air pressure would change that or even a different wheel width.

Speaking of wheel width, that maybe another piece of information that would be useful in the OP with all the tire diameters. For example a 265/75 would be taller on a 7 inch wheel than the same 265/75 would be on a 9 inch wheel.

That is a good point, on that big a difference in wheel width it seems it would make a difference... Also I have been updating the PSI because that seems it would make a difference.

The unloaded size from 33"-32" is bigger than I had expected...

Was just going to mention that....my 35/12:50/15's dropped about 3/4" in height when I went from 8" rims to 10" rims, so rim width can make a big difference in overall height.

I wonder if it's consitant with rim widths? If it would be 3/4" from a 7" to a 9"

Im planning on getting the copper st maxxs in 255/85 variety on the 7 inch trd off road wheel and probably going to run the same psi i do now in my 265s which is 40 in the front and 35-38 in the rear. But please dont hold your breath for this measurement it will be a few months. I got to save a little at a time. But if anyone is just dying to know with in the next week or so i do take donations lol.

Most likely not as it would vary with tire size. Different tires are designed for a specific set of rims, all will be taller on the narrower rim and shorter on the wider rim. Usually the mfg gives their specs based on a specific size rim that is usually in the middle of the range. So if they specify a 7-9" rim width they may list the specs for mounted on an 8" rim.

BFG AT KO LT265/70/16 "D" on Baja / Pro rims new at 45psi are just a hair over 30" tall (BFG claims 30.7" on an 8" rim) so maybe that is off the truck and inflated to 80psi?) I'll check again in the daytime, but I'm pretty sure I had the top of the tire and I was on a cement floor.

Yea you never know somebody may be lurking that's feeling generous. But probably not.

Not sure why but I've always ran my tires psi high. I was able to tell the my tires were loosing psi when it got cold because I was getting less mpg. They were only down to around 36 psi. But with that size a lower psi may be what is needed
