    So I have an ome lift which is 2.5-3" of lift. I have the 17"s which have the 4.3 bs. Tires are 265/70/17 cooper discoverer rtx. I wanted 275's but no one had them where I was and was tight on time with getting the stock set off to sell.

    ^I purchased the 17" and had my toms switched and rebuilt for $20. Americas tire comp. said everything they switch them over they have to be rebuilt. Not sure if true but i wanted the wheels on.

    The wheel size doesn't matter. Some shops are willing to flip the sensors to make them work, but some shops will not do it b/c of their shop policy.

    If the sensors have some miles on them then it's always a good idea to have them rebuilt for peace of mind. However, if they're fairly new then it shouldn't be needed.
