Many great posts, including the maintenance on the SC. And many other tidbits. Moderators, please allow it to continue or please spend MANY hours picking the best parts and making it a sticky. Lots of great stuff that your members need to keep up the great work on this forum from many members.:)

Lastly, the 2015 might be the last of the SC on the Tacoma. For at least 1-3 years. Please reopen the post or keep the really important stuff and get rid of the fluff. There is a lot there, hehe.

Depends if it was soft deleted, or physically removed. If it was the latter, then there is no bringing it back.

    got the thread URL?

    It's called the waybackmachine.

Might get you enough info to pull the text out of it.

We soft deleted it, and are deciding if we want to bring it back. There were multiple warnings given, and they went ignored.

Thanks Chris4x4, appreciate the reply.:) At least the SC maintenance and tidbits about install costs/experiences etc need to be brought back to life. There is a lot of personal garbage in that thread for sure.

I have my doubts that an informative supercharger related thread can exist on this forum. For whatever reason this forum attracts immature people who have no respect for others or TacomaWorld as a whole. They don't care to contribute useful knowledge to the community & instead would rather make it a 'look at me' chat room. I'm amazed that as large as this forum is there's relatively little technical supercharger information to be found. I made an effort to clear up some inaccuracies that exist due to no conversations taking place & people just parroting what they heard once. I tried to get a more technical conversation going but I'm not sure this forum is capable. It's a shame too as I like this forum best out of all the Tacoma forums but the fact that it's almost entirely devoid of technical supercharger discussion is disappointing. The mods even warned us all to keep it civil, topical & omit the personal attacks & some couldn't help themselves. Twice. There's really no reason to be personally attacking people in such a thread. If you don't like what someone says question their statement & produce fact & reasoning as to why but attacking the person who said it is immature & unnecessary. This forum seems to attract a lot of people who can't grasp that concept & they're all into superchargers I guess.

I never entered the SC thread, but have seen a couple new threads talking about it, what ever happened to the original one?

Summary: A couple of members built up a personal grudge against me because I don't sugar coat my posts and couldn't let it go. They wanted to hate me so no matter what I posted they felt the need to attack me personally even when mods told them to knock it off.

Dude, you did get a little excited at times. I'm not sure why the mods got so excited, but I guess we're running a PG13 forum here.

Anyway, forget that for a minute. I was scoping your build thread and I saw those boxes that you have mounted in your bed. I'm kinda digging that. How did you do that? Are those ammo boxes?

I personally don't think your sugar-coating the info in that thread was the issue...
Time and time again, I see a few certain mods blackball posters over "majority rule" or reputation vs someone who actually knows what they're talking about. I guess that's why quite a few toyota forums belittle and have nothing to do with tw.
I'd square blame on the thin-skinned mods rather than the disruptive, "repeat what I read" children, if they went so far to delete that informative thread.

    Tis a damn shame.

Perhaps "Tired of having to baby sit pissy members" would be more accurate than "thin skinned". We get tired of being called into the same thread over and over. If members cant get along in a thread, after repeated warnings, then it gets deleted.

:locked::locked:This thread is heading that direction. I think when something goes wrong everyone should step back and ask themselves how they could of made it better. Blaming or getting upset at other people isn't going to help anything. It's not hard to be civil and post things with that in mind. Maybe I'm just crazy...
