    I just got mine in today, it's not recessed but you can't feel where the mold was for the airflow logo, i think If you sand it it should be ok.

    Just finished installing mine this morning, pretty straight forward. I'm very happy with it! Except for that one nut on top what a pita! It took longer to put that on then anything else!

    Yea that's the first thing my wife said when she walked outside, why is that hose clamp not black. Lol I said relax I'll get a black one.

    Curious if anyone has ran this snorkel with a Supercharger yet? I know other snorkels have caused a loss in boost. Also, has anyone mounted this with Fiberglass fenders yet? :)

    These were tested with superchargers and run flawlessly. The fiberglass fenders are gonna involve some custom work on your end though.

    Not bashing on you or them at all, Ben, but is there any reports from the testing? Do these cause any leaning out of the mixture or any richness? Any loss of boost? Some people say they run snorkels no problem, while others have issue. If A A has solid proof of no issues, then sign me right the F up lol. I'll figure out how to hack up some fiberglass on my own time :)

    I'll see if I can get something from Mark. That was one of the contributing factors to me dealing with them over safari. The safari necks down at the bends whereas tje airflow maintains a smooth 4" opening all thw way in. The really do maximize airflow through them. Skygear has taken that to the next level in his build and done away with even MORE angles to maximize the air intake.

    Yea that's what I was thinking as well. I'm looking into doing a CAI box to tie a snorkel into. As long as I can maintain the same OD the whole way through I think it'll be fine. In fact I think the AirAid CAI has a huge ID piping lol.

    The less bends, the better :)

    I'm still researching lol, but I'm looking into doing a sort of deck plate mod sort of thing with the snorkel. So I can close off the fender inlet when needed and have the snorkel for heavy rain and water crossing and such, and leave the fender inlet open for normal every day stuff. Just not a huge fan of the stock air box.
