Matt at MCM will do it for you. But it's basically grinding down the joint a tad to allow more droop and lip for boots

Replaced the knock sensor wiring harness today. I still get a knock sensor code, so it must actually be the sensor. I can't do much about it now so it looks like will have to trailer it to Minnesota when I move the rest of my shit.

When I reset mine it comes back as soon as I put a load on the engine. I'm going to load the stock 7th injector map and see if maybe my tune went to hell. Otherwise I don't know. Toyota said the sensors rarely ever go bad under 200k miles. I kind of think I'm pinging hard and my engine is toast.

I would expect to hear it if it were that bad.

I have open header exhaust dumped under the cab. I can't hear shit. It makes a sound like ping when I'm lugging the engine, but when I had the cat on it didn't make the sound, and as soon as I took the cat off it did, so I thought it was the exhaust. Now my thought is it's ping. I had low rpm ping before so I know what it sounds like, but i had it tuned out with the cat on and there's no way I could hear that ping with my current exhaust. The tune is pretty high on retard and fuel though.

Oh. yeah. as soon as I read "open header". I'm crossing my fingers for ya. I stopped mucking about with mine. Went back to stock pulley and happy with the preloaded tune. One day, I might take it into a shop to be tuned but I'm at a point I'm done with it for awhile.
