05-11foglight led pod kit. gg lighting

Since rigid does not make a kit i found this. Has anyone ever used these?

Staaaaayyyy away from GG Lighting. Nothing but horror stories from them.

 

Interested I'm this as well. I don't want the lights from them. Just the kit they sell to stick a pod in stock fog light location. Does anyone else make a kit for this or a write up?

 

Like what? Seems they're the only company doing this....and I'd like to try it. Customer service? Lights?

I personally haven't bought anything from them but to be honest there's a tone of negativity on them out there. I'd say if anyone disregards that and gives them a shot, use a credit card and be ready to call your bank to get your money back just in case. And I'm not saying that to talk crap, just saying, people give money to people and expect things to go well (in a perfect world this would be fantastic) and then 3 months later decide they are fed up and for things like paypal transactions its too damn late.

Well, guess what? RIGID is coming out with their bracket for the 05 - 11 models, for the Dually. I'm waiting...and getting the DOT Duallys for this. Can't. Freaking. Wait.

 

When does that come out! I want these and it is about time! any links to that info?

 

If you see random companies coming out with something cool you like, chances are Rigid either already has it, or is developing it. I've seen alot of rigid stuff release early and just isn't nearly the same quality. Granted, rigid is pricey but pretty worth it, and thru put ALOT of R&D into their stuff

 

I would wait for rigid. Gg lighting doesn't give a rats ass about their customers. When I bought lights about 4 years ago from them I was told I was getting German made hid lights and ballasts. Nope, China crap. 2 out of 4 ballasts were DOA and getting replacements was fun. Not a reputable company. He has done this to countless people.

I am waiting to see what the rigid mount looks like. Even if it's 10 times as much it will be better than dealing with GG.

 

Someone who is a Rigid tester told me.....and had them ALREADY INSTALLED ON HIS '06!!

So yes, I'm waiting on Rigid. I've tried and tested the Rigid knock off lights. Junk. Junk. There's a reason Rigid is expensive. That's all I'll ever buy now. Just wish some of their lights were round, and not all square.

 

Used to follow them on Instagram, same thing, a lot of people would comment trying to get information on their orders. Some were even in SoCal and still were waiting ridiculous amounts of time for delivery.

 

I'm pretty sure they are banned in TW as well, so that should tell you enough.

 

Good to know, since I want to replace my fogs with square pods.

I think Rigid's are small 2 LED rectangular affairs. Meh!

 

They have awful Customer Service. I took a chance after reading all the reviews on here. I just liked the simplicity of the brackets. I DID end up getting my product but it took almost 3 weeks from start to finish.

Have you or anyone that you know used it or have done something similar? I started another thread asking about square pod replacement of the stock round fogs.
