Mine came out nice and pretty (straight too :) ). I had to file the edges though as they were sharp.

I can snap a pic for you in the morning.

Here ya go. Turned out nice and clean. Hardest part was getting the wire loom for the switch through the grommet in the firewall :)

That is normally the hardest part. Did you cut the nipple off the grommet?

I did cut it but not enough the first time. After I cut enough and did the antenna trick I was able to get it through.

The long tacoma antenna is good for something besides hitting the top of the garage door :)

Can you explain to someone like myself who is not the least bit knowledgable about doing vehicle electronics but was considering an sPod to manage future accessories what makes your product superior ?

Waterproof and size. Infinitely customizable. Fused and relayed locations so you don't need additional fuse blocks. Looks 'factory'. 24/7 support from the guy building them. All the same features of the SPOD, you just decide which ones to pay for

But would that mean you would essentially need to know all the accessories you would be attaching to your box when ordering ? How would that work for undetermined future additions ?

Not necessarily. I normally terminate all the wires. So a small box for example. I'll terminate all 10 positions so you have 5 relay positions and 5 fused circuits. Until you put fuse in a there the circuit is not live.

Like a regualr circuit in a car, you can put multiple items on 1 fuse as long as you do not exceed the max amp rating for the each fuse 30amp

Don't forget too. 2 of the small boxes are the same size as one of the bigger boxes. Even then, still smaller overall footprint than an SPOD
