Anybody know where I can get black polyurethane block to raise my Thule cap rack. Looking to raise 5" and keep the demensions the size of the foot pad. I have no problem trimming to size myself to get four blocks out of one. Most sites I look up online are industrial, expensive, and not even close to the sizing I need. Any help and links are appreciated.

Apologies for my occasional random and slightly de-railing posts in here. But the NJ BS thread is pretty sweet and everyone seems like great folks. I moved up here for a job last June after 11 years in the Marines. After 7 months in the Lacey area of Ocean County, my company has opened up a job opportunity in Woodbine. Now, other than the trip on the Cape May Ferry and 2 days in AC at the Tropicana, I haven't ventured south of Manahawkin since arriving in NJ. But somehow the really southern part of the state, somehow, I think would agree with me more.

I suppose I'm looking for locals to give a sort of breakdown to the lifestyle/people/culture differences between Ocean/Monmouth areas and the Atlantic/Cape May/Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem area. Before living here, my life was for the most part spent in semi-rural GA and NC. So in a nutshell...I need more laid back folks and more open spaces than around the Toms River area. What's Woodbine and surrounding areas like?

Woodbine is a pretty rural area, but is has its problems and that is mostly do to the low income housing projects. But other then that it's a nice area.

 

Anyone south of Monmouth county is a hick.

Monmouth county/ocean county border is like the Mason-Dixon Line.
