Does the 2016 come with lighted switches on the door panel or around the key ignition

I know there were some little quirks with the 2nd gens like no lights on the window/lock buttons on the door panels and also no light around the key ignition so sometimes and I do this too, it gets a little hard to find where to put the key into. It isn't a big annoyance for me, like the power seats I have come to accept and live with it. Kinda bummed there's no power seats even in the highest end model. Any other quirks that have been fixed or improved in the 2016 model?

Far as I've seen the real answer is none of us probably know that for sure yet. What we do know is that we have pictures of a Limited and a OR that show a 'push to start' button which would render your concern reference an illuminated ignition keyhole N/A. Of course we also don't know every model those push to start buttons come with or whether or not it's an option or it automatically comes as part of a certain package.

As good a job as Toyota has apparently done giving the masses stuff they wanted but Toyota didn't offer on 2nd Gens (heated mirrors, tailgate lock, Homelink, etc) it wouldn't surprise me if illuminated controls were inside the new truck. Then again, it appears that they didn't provide folks with a pwr seat option, 4-wheel disk brakes, cargo light on all models, etc).

Bottom line: I guess we just will have to wait & see.

When the door is open, the dome light comes on. Problem solved.

In the push button start equipped Toyota models, the words light up in green when the car recognizes that the fob in side the vehicle. Can't miss it.

Uhhhh, how does that solve it when you are driving down the highway? You should open your door then?

Exactly when I get in my new 2015 and close the door the dome light goes right out and you can't see the ignition spot. Guess that would take some serioussssssssssssssss engineering to figure out how to light that up. But I am guessing the new 2016 is going to be an engineering masterpiece.
