Only when I turn super super sharp in reverse.

Ill take a look at the K02s. Ill probably go with whatever will be better for the slick wyoming highways i seem to be driving 24/7 these days.

Oh mont, I might not get a job at weed and pest this summer. I might be a porter for jackson hole moumtaim guides.

So far I think kenny really likes me. But yeah it'd be totally bitchen! id get paid $125 a day for either 4 or 5 day trips, and up to 12 trips a year to go climb gannett and granite peaks and haul peoples shit.

But yeah between that and DANO id be in the boonies again all summer:D

I will probably have to get a job this semester though to support gas, truck parts and climbing gear. :lalala:

Nice! That's 6 grand minimum before taxes. If you do all 12 weeks worth.

Be a hell of a summer.

Haha! How could you even get a job..like..time wise?

My roommate left about 30 minutes ago on a search for a road that doesn't exist haha. He didn't want to listen to me but he is headed close to the area where I buried the truck to the frame a week ago. He is supposedly camping but I don't think hes gonna have much choice . Can't wait to get the phone call tomorrow asking if I can come help get him unstuck.

    Alright...haha

So I'm the manager for the day. I have 6 staff on Saturdays. One calls me before i even leave for work to say he will be late as he has to go buy a new car since his died this week with his dad. No prob i say. Make it fast. So now im down to 5 staff.

Then i find out the first thing of the day is a Merit badge class. Basically up to 15 lil boy scouts come and learn how to belay, repel and some knots. It usually takes 4-6 hours. AND its over booked of course. So. Now i am down to 4 staff for the rest of the day.

The rest of the normal day includes, 3 basic climbing classes and 3 birthday parties one of which 2 staff has to work at the same time.

    SO

I have 3 staff and myself to start the day off and it starts off rough with lots of orientations (tour and rules of the gym for first time climbers, take 10-15 mins)

Then shit hits the fan for reals.

I have 1 staff with the first party as they are finishing, 2 staff with the new on and 1 with the class and 1 STILL with the merit badge and its 2pm.

So now I am basically alone at the front desk working two cash registers and helping the mob of new people as well as handling the phone...

went on like that for about 2 hours.

When i finally caught a break to breath i realized it was 3:30pm, i had not had lunch yet, and neither has any of my staff.

Finally the other guy that was late shows up at 4. And i get my other staff guy back from the overbooked merit badge at 4:10.

Was a fucking cluster fuck of a day. I was so mad. haha

I wrote one hell of a scathing managers report to the GMs..

 holy cluster fuck batman. I'd have sent the GM a nice message too.

Completely off topic but a few weeks back there was a company Christmas party thing that I completely forgot about and they gave out these Bose sound link minis to every employee there. I was like meh, no biggie. Then yesterday the HR secretary lady comes to the shop, calls me to the break room and hands me one haha. Not a bad late Christmas present if you ask me!

Little thing is extremely impressive for it's size. All the girls tell me that too :notsure: no idea what they mean...

Not a bad deal then haha I get about 5-10 minutes to prepare myself on the drive there. Depending on how much boost is being applied :D

Yeah that's kind of a tough call. You may save a bit more living closer to work since you have to make that drive every day. You can always make that drive in the other direction when you have a free night or weekend or something.
