Never been there so I wouldn't know

 

They were hard wood pallets cut up into firewood lengths. Would have been fine for the fire pits at Tillis Hill. They just burned pretty fast.

Holder Mine doesn't have fire pits on the primitive side, so if you are staying there, bring a campfire grill or something to cook on. There are pits just like Tillis Hill on the RV side of Holder Mine.

OK. Was looking at calendar dates and will have a tiny conflict. I will still be coming on Friday, and still will be wheeling on Saturday. i will probably stay and chill Saturday night, But I will have to leave real early on Sunday morning so that I can be back home by noon on Sunday. Sorry guys, but there is no way I am going to miss the Daytona 500. I haven't missed it in nearly 20 years and am not going to start now.
