So glad to be done with that place. However my college gym is overloaded with people starting their new years resolution now that they are back at school. Kid today was on the treadmill in jeans and kept dropping his phone. He also could barely stay on it when he was trying to run. Pretty sure he fell of the back a couple of times. You could tell he had never been on one before and was trying to run way faster than he was capable of.

Question of the day for you guys. What's the best thing you have ever purchased for the gym/working out?

I personally LOVE my iPod shuffle. I have one of the first ones before they put touch screens on them. I also have a touch screen one that I cracked the screen but it was just big enough to feel it on me and had to be in my pocket or it dug into my hips on squats. Everyone says they are dumb because you'll lose it and its hard to select songs. I just create playlists and switch through those for my mood. I've had two of these now and lost one after a few years. Then I found my current one in Afghanistan and have had it since 2011.

If you're the biggest guy (or I guess most fit in this situation) then its time to find a new gym.

haven't been sleeping so had blood work done. as i thought cortisol levels are thru the roof, gona probably have to take a week or two off after this weekends competition....gheyyyyyyy

on the bright side my overall cholesterol is crazy low, considering i eat 6 pieces of bacon, 1 pound of steak, 1 pound of chicken, and about 3 servings of salami before bed I'm excited about that :goingcrazy:

Cortisol up top and cholest second from the bottom

Just got done with a light run. Decided to stop going for distance and do intervals until I build my conditioning back up. I did 1 min running and 4 minutes walking today. I was fully recovered around 2:30 minutes of walking so I think I am going to switch it to 1 minute run and 3 minutes walking tomorrow. 1 minute running was just about right. I could feel myself starting to hurt but in a good way. It's going to take a little bit to get back in shape at 7220 ft elevation :(. Overall it was 2.75 miles and I am going to stretch the distance to get it to 3 miles as that's my immediate goal.

Also, after two reps I made a quick stop to drop my sweatpants on a bench. After the run I checked the temp. 28 degrees and it feels like 15 with wind. I don't think I will have much issue with compression gear being warm enough . Eagerly awaiting my new inov8 running shoes to come in. These new balance aren't cutting it haha.

Running tights and top came in. I was worried because reviews said they don't fit tight. BS, those reviewers obviously don't lift.
