Money should never be your deciding factor. Can't replace being close to good company. All my good friends are at least 250 miles away so I'm a lone ranger in Sheridan nowadays

Id deal with the commute Ben, I have had plenty of jobs where it was a long commute, sometimes to a neighboring town, but it was worth it to be with my friends. Although Im gonna enjoy commuting on my ruckus now, but I guess I'll be in town where I work anyways and wont have any of my friends there anyways.

Yeah I totally understand the whole commute thing. My classes are like a 2 min walk from my dorm. Ugh so awful

I wouldn't mind that kind of communte. I hate the stop and go of the interstate commute. Thats why I don't mind my 30 minute (28 mile round trip) communte. No interstate.

The only downside to a 90 mile daily commute is that the miles pile up on the truck after while. Rather quickly actually. That is why the redhead is semi-retired.

 

Yea lots of miles. Lots of wear on stuff.

 

I feel like the red head isn't the one who should be retired

 

15 miles is all city and 45 is interstate.

As for afford it, I still have my car. It gets 35-40 mpg. The taco doesn't get driven much.

Yea why i don't use it anymore. It was kinda dumb. Told ya to just get the scan gauge.

The UG is a pain the get the fuel consumption calibrated properly... the miles driven isn't too bad if you go for a long drive and sinc it up to your phone with a distance traveled app. I usually use 100+ miles drives to calibrate it.

 

Does the UG not have a way for you to tell it how much fuel it took to fill up?

On the SG, it is a percentage number I can increase or decrease in 0.10 increments. It already knows how many miles I went since the last fillup and it makes a guess on fuel usage for that tank based in the percentage setting.

In longer trips, like going to Powell, with multiple fillups and all highway type driving is involved, it can be dead nuts on in its prediction for fuel usage for a tank full. This translates to very accurate mpg readouts.

 

Just get a scan gauge. Haha
