I don't think a 30" will fit on my bumper. The grill hoop is too narrow. But I do have something planned that will be pretty cool.

Don't do it!! :D yeah those new style light bars are pretty fancy looking. Do you know if those are going to replace the LITE series?

They have both the Wraith and Artisan coming soon. The artisan is essentially the same light with a couple cool aesthetic/color changes so it may replace the LITE series I don't know for sure though. The Wraith is a whole new light so it will be a separate product. It will be very cool.

Always when you think you have the best...:annoyed:

Quick question, Zach are you or anyone else filling the spacers with silicone to keep water from collecting in there? I just put a good sized drop on each hole before placing the spacers/weather stripping down and some on the bolts

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
I filled mine and then pushed the bolt in...had a leak when I first isntalled it since I just used a little RTV on the threads. My second time I used a ton of RTV around the spacer and then filled the spacer...sealed up nicely!

Thanks guys, I may go back in and fill the spacers with some clear silicone for safe measures. Might be able to get in there without having to loosen the rack

The design of the roof rack made it extremely easy to remove the necessary bars and mock up where I needed to mount the Maxtrax and Plano case off the truck. My recovery gear is now up and out of the way allowing for more room behind the rear seats. VERY happy with the results!

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I am loving this mod. This is definitely on short list of next updates. I do have a concern about the amount of weight that one would be able to carry on this rack. Now I do understand that we are limited by the structural integrity of the roof, but has anyone tested this out? How much weight is everyone currently carrying on this setup?

Probably the most anyone has carried would be a roof top tent full of people. I had about 350 lbs of steel on mine once but that is the most I have done on the cabrac.

I haven't seen Toyota's specs on the roof but my opinion on roof racks is they aren't made to load up to the point of failure. Your vehicles dynamics are going to be altered the more weight that goes on the roof. Being top heavy is a concern that I think a lot of people overlook.

I feel completely stable with a 130lb RTT and 400lbs worth of people on the roof when we are parked. That being said if I wouldn't want to be going around corners or be in off camber situations with that kind of load on the roof, it makes a big difference.

I'm not a Facebook guy, but I can at least see Heretic's page. Looks like they do have more products, but I'm not sure if they're actually in production yet. They need to update their webpage so we can see what's for sale. Some of that new stuff looks awesome.

Now that you've had it a few days, what's the wind noise like? Between my tires and my supercharger I can't really complain about noise, but I don't really want one more thing to drown-out with the stereo.

Also, how was drilling the rubber/metal piece and how did you get all of that lined up correctly?

    Still the coolest roof rack.

The wraith and the Artisan that they have on facebook are supposed to be available around mid February. Apparently they are updating their website as they release the new products but up until now their website has been pretty dismal. They seem to get most of their business through larger contracts and by word of mouth so I don't think they put much time into the website. (Something I hope they will change.)

I try to keep my website updated with the information I get from them.

MY personal experience has been that I can't hear the rack over my tires. I definitely cant tell any difference between the 30" lightbar and the normal deflector with no light bar. I have had both setups for a minimum of 2 months.

There is a bit of a whistle at certain speeds. I can only hear it with the windows down though. Doesn't really bother me as my truck makes more annoying sounds than that

I ended up using a step drill bit as I couldn't source a 3/4" hollow punch as others used. Only had a 1/2"..Actually worked fairly decent for me. Cleaned the holes up with a dremel. I used Evenflows method of measuring for the holes basically by placing the bolts in and marking location (tape and sharpie) and using a straight edge. Put the weather stripping back in, mark and drill

You actually have better links to their products than their website. What are these larger contracts you speak of? Re-sellers? I've never seen them on anyone's website except yours.

Their major market is with UTV's and apparently about 60-70% of their business is overseas in the places like Dubai. Lots of wealth, lots of sand, and lots of UTVs. They also have contracts with polaris directly.
