In the 80s we were hoping by 2000 to see flying cars in every household, floating skate boards with no wheels and robots that's served us cocktails. Some of us have been disappointed by the progress vs the prospects of technology and development. Many inventions exist to help humanity down its evolving trail and people seem apprehensive to put these tools into real life practical use. Fuck a go pro. Sorry to bring that up again. ;)

    Because:

    1: It looks the same
    2: Spokespeople can exaggerate

I guess you could say the front doors have a slight bulge closes to fender but rear door looks identical. How do you see a difference?

haha. I even remember watching modern marvels on the history channel in like 2010 saying that they predicting to have flying cars by 2015. The only thing I'm seeing fly is planes.

I think one of the things I like best about it is the new round vents in the dash. Much more functional than what has been in before.

Is it going to have a sunroof option? , that would be the kicker for a lot of people , including me.

Pep boys will give you a sun roof for $1289 if that's what's important.

any word on engine numbers yet? and this atkinson cycle "technology", will this prohibit boost? I ask because a friend of mine has a mazda 3 non sport and he said that the compression is already hi (20:1 i think is what he said, sky technology or what ever) and he also said that the rods are composet or something. it sounds like a bunch o' malarky to me but it was on the internet so it must be true

My Dad's '55 Chevy Fleetside pickup had push button start. Of course it was a big round "button" on the floor board near the accelerator pedal. :D

I have a '13 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0t that has push button start. I was really skeptical when the wife and I bought it. But now, I'm hooked on the keyless entry and push button start. When we go away and I drive the Hyundai daily, I get back to the Tacoma and I'm like "what's this key thing ".

Sure do wish I still had my Dad's '55 though.

Thanks. I try. :D Can't take all the credit though, I found it posted on another thread here on TW. But if you listen closely to the Toyota rep., there is a lot of information there.

    Carry on carrying on.

At about 2:40, the Toyota rep says the DC comes with 5 foot bed, and the AC comes with 5 or 6 foot.

    Oops...
