    Oh wow, I don't have near close to that. I have 4.5" of lift right now and only have a 1.5-2" AAL and it's completely level.
    I figured since I was adding right around 2" to the front, a 2" block would make it level.
    You have me second guessing myself. Am I just going crazy? :goingcrazy:

    Haha the #'s will drive you crazy cause stock they should be about 2" low up front. Meaning front lift should be 2" more than rear to be level. By the #'s I should be low in the front still but I'm only about an inch higher in front & it looks & measures just about level, like I said only .5" diff. & the pinch weld on the bottom of the cab measures real close front to back. Ground to pinch weld under my double cab is 24 3/8" front & 24 3/4" rear

    No problem.
    So you got 4.5" up front? & 1.5-2" in the rear?
    From what I've read an add a leaf for the tsb springs is 1.5" & non tsb is 2".
    It seems you should be high in the front right now.

    Yeah I'm not sure, it's an AAL off ebay I've had for about a year and they weren't sure how much lift it gave either haha.
    It's level now though so I have it figured out I think :laughing:

    A few things
    I got 2" from an aal (TAC-AL), and the aal was supposed to be 1.5"(they have since changed the description to 1.5"-2"). I was fine with it but still talked to Toytec and they told me that the 1.5" was for Tundras and 2" for Tacomas. Same aal for 00-06 Tundra i guess. BUT I've also heard about the 3 leaf vs 4 leaf tsb and short vs long beds. Guess it just depends on the actual truck and aal :)

    Looks as though i'm gonna be the guinea pig for the 18x9 Rims and 5" Backspacing.

    I searched the thread and saw this brought up a few times but couldn't find any confirmation from anyone that tried it. I called Maxtrac and they said all he could guarantee is that they fit 17" rim with 4.75 backspacing but thought it might work.

    Hoopefully with my 18" rim being bigger it will clear. Any of you guys have to do any slight grinding on your spindles to make your setup work? Or any 18" wheel guys out there running successfully?

    hey guys, just installed my spindles this weekend. the install went smooth but have a couple questions about some minor hickups.

    camber: my camber is a little offset on my passenger side and was wondering if a basic alignment will fix that issue

    steering wheel shakes: im getting steering wheel shakes at around 45 mph and was wondering if this was from new tires of maybe the drive shaft?

    will post pics later, help is much appreciated

    I think an alignment will fix all that. You should be getting an alignment anyway, should get one anytime you mess with the suspension.

    I have a few mods
    Whenever you raise the front up, the suspension won't be aligned anymore, when I installed my spindles my camber was off as well. Get it aligned and see how things are, i had the shaking as well but then got my MT setup and the shakes went away. Which my TC UCAs are made to correct the small alignment problems. An alignment should fix the shakes though
