New here, so I'm introducing myself. I'm a new member, after being very briefly a lurker here. I'm not a Tacoma owner, yet, but I've place a deposit on one incoming to the dealership, either through a trade, or an "allocation."

The incoming Tacoma is to be a 2015 Double-Cab 4x4 TRD Sport with the long bed. I had intended to get the TRD Off-Road, but with two Jeeps that I intend to keep, the need really was for primarily a pick-up, not another off-road monster. So, long-bed TRD Sport it was. Oh, and explanation of the subject: the color is Pyrite Mica.

I'm expecting my time here will be as useful as my time on the Jeep board, for upgrades, tricks, maintenance, etc. I like to, as much as possible, do all my own work, even on new vehicles.

Ok, if I can make this work, here is a photo of my Taco. This is under 7 inches of snow we had here on "Fat Tuesday." I had picked it up in the last week of January. I got to test out all the traction control options after I cleaned all the snow off its top. It did quite well. Love the truck.

Nice. If it's your first Taco, I'm confident you'll love it. If it isn't your first, then you already know that.

My Taco is my first truck. I've driven pickups before, but never owned my own. I wish I hadn't waited so long. And the Tacoma had been my dream truck for a LONG time time.
