TRD super charger, URD fuel mods and 2.1 super grip pully, Headers, 2.5" glass pack, Dana 60 front 4 linked, 14bolt rears on chev 63's, 5.38 gears, ARB locker in the front, PSC full hydraulic steering, 18" SAW 2.5" triple rate coils overs, FOA 2.5 air bumps, B&M launch controls, B&M trans cooler, 4 alpine 6X8 type R's amped, Red led rock lights, CBI front and rear bumpers (my design) CBI sliders, 4 riggid dualys front 2 in the rear, custom track bar, ARB snorkle, warn VR8000 winch, Viair 480c twin compressers..
the first gen 4doors only had the option for auto. Her car is a stick and she prefers manual trans over auto but im converting the tow rig to a 5 speed so that'll have to do.

my gf drove quite a hit last year. she doesn't do great with the clutch but in low she does just fine. she had more fun on the higher speed dome plateau run than i thought last year. got up to 30 or 40 in high range off road. she did damn good

    ATTENDANCE POLL

post up when you know your plan

    a public service announcement:

for those new to the game and thinking about trails....

feel free to plan ahead and build groups to go with on trails you really want to hit...nothing wrong with that..most of my trails are planned out prior to...

but leave some flexibility in your schedule...

we're looking at 80-100 trucks possibly, so that's 8-10+ trail runs going out each day to choose from...

the popular trails, we have to stagger our start times..but if one trail run gets full, keep an ear out for others who also were looking to run it and get something planned for the next day...or pull together a second group and head out 1-2 hours after...

key is, be flexible..create a list of trails you want to run..keep an ear out for others looking to do similar runs..talk around with trucks of similar build and create trail runs of similar capabilities..have fun..feel free to hop in a group with a more experienced trail leader who can help you develop some skills (if they feel comfortable with that)..and did i mention, have fun? Back on the law topic for those of you who might not wear your seat belts... I'm not sure how it is in other states, but Utah is looking to change not wearing your seat belt from a secondary offense to a primary. That means a cop can pull you over on the grounds of not wearing your seat belt alone.

Right on. I'm planning on a CB for sure and I have my commercial vhf. Technically it works on ham frequencies, but I don't think my license allows me to transmit on them. Maybe I'll do some reading up on that beforehand.

By the book, should be kept separate. But all the Race Radios are on Commercial Frequencies. And plenty of the Ham's can be modded to transmit on the Commercial/Race Frequencies.

Yes, 2M mostly, with some 70cm on the dual band units. Kinda depends on the available repeaters and level of activity.

I've got a Race Radio and Intercom setup to go into the buggy. Will also have a CB mounted somewhere, but not tied into the intercom most likely.

this vvv when we did TOTW last year we jumped out at the beginning of the the trail and let the girls drive. I figure if she wants to ill let her do more of the trials this year she gets supper board if she is just a pas. the entire time.

Still waiting on things to get closer to the leave date to figure out what everyone is doing but if we do it it will be tward the end so I think it will work out.
