A crossfitter with high cortisol levels. Can't say I'm surprised. Best to go do some more metcons to cure it.

To be fair most athletes have high cortisol levels.

Blood sugars solid. High stress as far as excersise/eustress goes. But with distress im the least stressed out person youll ever meet lol basicly just overtrained my nervous system and am over stimulated...again....physically I'm fine no losses in strength. ill just get super un motivated, not want to eat, can't sleep, and cloudy headed and always forgetting things. happens to me like twice a year ha

Doesnt soley apply to crossfiters only, any type of training can lead to higher levels of cortisol.....

There is a CL ad for 255lbs in weights for $180. If I offer $200 for the guy to throw in the 45lb Bar do you guys think that is fair? Should I offer him $190 first then try the $200?

True, anyone can over train. More prevalent in CF as it appears. I've meet more people with those exact symptoms that CF then lift.
"I'll just get super un motivated, not want to eat, can't sleep, and cloudy headed and always forgetting things."

These exact symptoms are common among people with low T. Prolonged elevated cortisol will start to take a toll, and your T levels will drop. Tons of people before you with vast knowledge of the endocrine system have gone to great depths to try and explain this to the CF community, and get shunned for it.

I've seen 22 y/o snake eaters with T levels so low you'd think they were in chemo. These guys could still lift a house and run 6 minute miles all day, but put them in a chair with no stimulus for 10 minutes and it's like they are fighting Rocky to keep their eyes open.

Not knocking you, just trying to inform. Repeatedly going balls to the wall is not sustainable, and without extra help (AAS), you're going to crash, and it's going to do some damage.

It'd depend on the weights. If they were a bunch of mismatched rusty iron plates, then I'd pass. If it was a set someone bought and just doesn't use, then it could be a good deal. I'd offer the asking price with the bar included first. It's CL man, he's probably already been offered a "running when parked" go-kart, a boat trailer, and a fake Armani jacket for them. A full price offer if he throws in a bar won't offend him.

I hear yah man. And agree with all that, hard to train smart when all you wana do is workout! Thanks for lookin out!

My case is odd i dont have any problem staying awake its just sleeping at night. probably get about 3-4 hours a night and train for 2-4hrs a day depending on the day, take no caffine and no preworkouts. I have a super high energy level all day but when it comes to lifting say in a metcon ill drop the bar and not wana pick it up. Im not tierd and still strong just mentaly not 100% in my workouts and slow on my olympic lifting speed. So iv always assumed im overstimulated/neurologically overtraining my nervous system.

Ill take two weeks off and come back feeling like im a god then itll happen again in 6 months.

The weights are all from the same set and they look brand new. Thanks for the advice. I'll offer $180, maybe I'll even throw in a ham sandwich.

This..if he says no then ask what he'd need to throw in the bar and negotiate from there

But it comes with 5 games, and a wireless controller. I lost the adapter, but you can get one offline for like $3.

Some folks were at the Capitol doing a health expo and I got my bp checked and it was 124/84, which is much lower than it was when I last checked it on my bulk a few months ago (140/87). I attribute that to waaaaaay less salt in my diet and maybe the 1 mile runs I've been doing before my workouts. Still wanna get it lower, though. Also, I did a grip strength test and had the highest score of the day
