i didnt know creeper was a brand. I am just saying something that will keep the joint from binding. How ever you want to do that is ok by me. what about something from the spring side like an orbit eye type thing?

Yes creeper is a brand, the joint is called a uniball. They just don't fit in the shackles/shackle flip. You might be able to go in the springs like that, IDK. I've never measured for that. It is not recommended to do uniballs in both the shackle and the spring as that allows the whole shackle/spring to flex side to side. That would cause instability in the truck. In reality they do not do a whole lot for flex anyway, the shackle flip itself is a much bigger gain.

    Noted, you'll be happy soon.

    Hi all,

Looking for a little bit of lift, but unsure where that would place me if I install the shackle flip with the following:

Icon 5-7505 Rear Shocks with Remote Resis, stock shock mount location
    All Pro Expedition Leaf Springs
All Pro U-bolt Flip Kit with Timbren Bumpstops
    Extended brake lines (24”)

I can't find any documented information on the shocks other than what Demello Offroad researched and came back with ICON's rear shock collapsed length is 15.9" and extended 26.4".

Does anybody see anything in that configuration that would not work?

    Many thanks in advance.

i had icon build me an 11+" rear with remote resi measured 16.8x28.1 ext/col lengths

    bilstein b110 are 16.3x27.3

shackle flip with stock length shackles will increase the lift by ~.75"

At full droop, are your shocks fully extended? I'm trying to figure out if my 10.5" travel shocks are going to be a bad fit for the expo leafs plus shackle flip with stock shackles.

All these numbers are giving me a headache! LOL

ArmorTech would you like to chime in too? Thanks in advance.

I have the B110 with Dakars+all and the droop/extended length is right at the edge. I did have to shim up my bumpstop to stop the stuff/collapsed length from crushing my shocks though.

limiting up travel a little bit is worth the gained down travel.

Are you guys using limit straps, or are you allowing the shocks to fully extend?
