When I went all synthetic: tranny, front and rear diffs, and engine, I didn't notice a significant increase in MPG.

When I started driving 55 MPH, I gained 8 MPG.

The best mod to increase mileage is a lighter right foot ... that 2000 rpm line is the magic number.

Not sure. Just did it yesterday but will see over the next month what happens. I also poured a can of Chevron Techron in the gas tank since Advance Auto has it on Buy One Get One.

Glad that fixed the problem. I need to plug mine back in for the same reason. I think I'm just going to put a small switch on one of the leads so I can toggle it on and off.

I took the lid off. It doesn't fit back on over the volant tube.

Lol that's about all you can do.
That sounds like a good idea if not too much.
I'm curious to see how Techron performs... Let us know! What kind of gas are you putting it in?
Yeah I knew the lid was off, I guess I didn't recognize the engine with the new intake. My bad

Detailed my truck, got the recalls fixed, oil change, and a new shifter knob (which made shifting pretty comfortable). My buddy is building me a headache rack tomorrow and I'm having him take lots of pictures haha. Also is there anybody near Coos Bay that is good at sealing headlights. My other one is full of condensation and I can't get myself to stick it in the oven and re-seal it.
