Round two this morning, trying a tire shop I've had good experiences with in the past for the alignment this morning.

Also, I got under the truck to check my rear cams (determine caster) they were both maxed out, in the same direction!! (Counter clockwise)

No wonder one side was -0.5deg and the other +2.0deg! What a joke...

Success! Different shop achieved numbers that I think will be good enough for me.

(Look how AWFUL the first shop did!)

Told you, you didn't need new UCA's with that lift, had the same one, its doable to get in spec. Congrats OP. Enjoy the setup.

So for all you guys without the UCAs at 3" of lift, what is the ride like on the interstate (75+ mph) I just got my OME 887s and 5100s but haven't gotten it installed yet. I haven't pulled the trigger on UCAs yet because I don't want to spend that money if I don't need to. I do a lot of freeway driving to get to and from school. Just wondering if at those speeds I will need them. What do y'all think?

I think this ultimately can be summed up with "different strokes for different folks"

My truck netted about 2.75" of front lift after with my set-up (and that's on day 1 so I expect it to settle even lower than that)

However, right after the alignment I drove ~120 miles of highway, in light winds (10+mph gusts), around 70-75mph and I have zero complaints. Even trying to "induce" wandering by jerking the steering wheel right or left, the truck seems to hold its line just as well as factory, the steering wheel returns to 12 o'clock just as it should. Maybe its because my truck is so new and my lift is very mild, but I do not plan to buy UCA's at this time.

My numbers don't look so good....Got the lift installed/alignment at another tire shop yesterday...Lift looks awesome and after the alignment I don't notice any problems with the ride quality, but again I'm a newb when It comes to these specs..I guess I will take it to another shop? The tire shop mentioned I will need a camber kit eventually.

That's a real bummer, I think I clearly lucked out with an experienced technician. If it's worth it to you, you could call around and try a different shop, and if they get much better numbers you could pursue a refund from the first store. That's what I'm currently doing.

Fortunately, I have a 5 year deal where I can get free alignments from the shop I went too. I will probably end up sticking it out until new UCA's. Not sure yet.

what kind of spacer did you use with the 521600 coils? ive heard the 1/2 inch spacer will give you more like 3/4 thus going over 3" maximum for 4x4s. thanks for any help
