    “I know one thing,” Spurrier said, according to ESPN.com. “South Carolina beat Urban for the (SEC) Eastern Division championship in 2010. He wasn’t himself, though, in 2010. That’s after he quit and came back and they’d told him to try and relax and let his assistants do most of the coaching. He wasn’t really himself then. But he’s back to being himself, and I suspect he’ll win a few more.”
    Spurrier is probably right. Meyer has Ohio State set up about as well as possible for a return bid to the playoff in 2015, with no underclassmen declaring early for the NFL Draft and the best possible quarterback situation any coach would dream of having heading into the spring. Meyer said this year’s Buckeyes were not supposed to be ready for this championship run, which has to leave you wondering how good they might be in 2015.
    “I knew Urban would have those guys so ready to play,” Spurrier said. “In the big games, he doesn’t lose many of them.”

    Alabama may not have added any hardware to the postseason trophy cases in Tuscaloosa, but Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are on cruise control to another recruiting national championship. Alabama is the leader in the latest team recruiting rankings for the Class of 2015 with just over two weeks until National Signing Day.
