At least they owned up to it. UPS just delivers the crumpled items in the mangled boxes, then dosnt help you.

Noooooooooooo! When my supercharger got shipped to me it was full of foam and double boxed and even then the box was a bit beat and a small plastic piece was broken. I had to make another out of delrin but that's nothing compared to what happened to yours =/ hopefully it all works out quickly

Sucks! But on another note, if they don't request the parts to be returned, I'm open to take the assembly kit off your hands. Let me know.

I hope the seller put insurance for the cost of the product when shipped! Otherwise, you are boned.

Sorry to hear this. It seems like fedex doesn't care. I once dropped off something to get shipped and when i walked out I see one of the guys with all the packages just throwing them all into back of the vehicle without a care. Hope you get it replaced.

How did you pay for the sc?
    You may have additional protections.
Also Cal may have additional consumer rights.
    Just saying.

    Don't blame the handlers entirely.
You are expected to handle x packages per minute, or we get someone who will.

    Thru a Credit card?
Only reason I ask is you can also challenge the charge.
Also tell PayPal, they may also have some protection for you.
    Just saying.

I used to work for a shipping company, Fedex was our biggest customer.

If the seller didn't put insurance on it, Fedex won't do a damn thing about it. The most you'll get, if you are lucky, is $500-600.

If the seller did put insurance on it for the full price, Fedex will pay for a new super charger and odds are you'll get to keep the old one as its 'damaged'. Just make sure you tell them it is no longer safe to put on the truck.

Good luck OP! If all works out, you'll have a new SC and one beat up one to sell to someone.

Wow. Sure hope you never make a mistake at your job. Even brain surgeons are entitled so a certain % of mistakes. I fear for our future when so many people are so quick to call for people to be fired. Like it's no big deal to the person or person's family. Shit happens. This is what insurance is for. If you opt to not insure then it's on you.

    I know! :)

Even so, there may be additional protection for shipping.
    Not sure, but maybe.

All the blame isn't on Fedex...could be on the shipper too depending on how it was packaged considering they had to repack the entire thing...

Hopefully Fedex supports the claim based on the original packaging.
