    That's the same thing with my professors also. 240 is crazy expensive, my genetics book a few years ago was around that! ack!

    One of them showed the third edition as her copy but requiring us to purchase the fourth edition lol

    I hope you're scouring the web with that ISBN number. I rarely paid full retail for even the newest textbooks.

    Oh, and the solutions manuals usually popped up as well. :D

    Yep. Been doing that. I did find an SI edition for about $30 for one class. Then I told my classmate I would throw him $10 to let me scan all the homework problems out of the back of the regular book.
