Everytime those two teams meet its a landslide in the direction of the Patriots. A reply would most likely go very similar to all the other games. I bet the refs in the superbowl triple check all the game balls lol

No. There is a legal range

Aaron Rodgers' comment is interesting because all of the "experts" are saying that the advantage is with under-inflated balls so that there is better grip, however Rodgers likes the complete opposite. He is actually suggesting that there should be a minimum, but no maximum.

Agreed. But the NFL is not very good at being proactive, only reactive (i.e. policy on domestic violence only implemented this year after Ray Rice)

Ummm NO. The Pats clearly won that game. The deflated balls did not contribute to that lop sided of a score. However, whoever deflated the balls, probably did it before the game when there was no score yet. So it would have been more of a story if NE only won by a small margin.

You'd hope anybody would..but I see so much of it in the dart league I run, and it's for a T shirt and plaque not even money. Some people.

Maybe Rodgers is just used to what he's used to, it happens..doesn't mean it is right if he did the same thing. And yes, while this is something that doesn't happen often the NFL does themselves no favors in general dealing with issues.

Agreed that the balls are not the reason it went down that way. The Pats scored 7 times, the Colts scored 7 points. Nuff said.

Pressure fluctuation happens. My balls felt overinflated this morning until I took an epic leak. They seem OK now.

I'm not saying they didn't win. But if they win the Super bowl, it's going to be slightly tarnished by the Patriots flat balls.

    That's right. Their DEFLATED BALLS!

LOL. If they win the Super Bowl, I think their reputation will be the same as when they won their previous SBs + Spygate. Meaning - All Pats fans will say it didn't matter, and everyone else saying they're cheaters :D

And lets not forget it was ONLY the Patriots balls that were under inflated. If temperature had such a big impact then all of the balls should have been under inflated.

The NFL isn't going to report anything unless it's a done deal. Similar to the time during Ray Rice and the video incident. It was all over ESPN and every other sports media outlet, except for the NFL

I have to wonder though..if DeQuell Jackson noticed it when he intercepted the ball, why would you not stop the game right there if you were the Colts?

Well, I guess we'll wait to hear what the NFL finds. Pretty disheartening and disappointing news for Pats fans, this was going to be our chance to finally put spygate to fucking bed, and win without any controversy.... NOPE. If this is all true and the pats did it on purpose, the sooner Garoppolo and a new HC take over, the sooner all this bullshit goes away, and that really sucks to say as a fan...

Niner fan here, but just for the record if it comes down to getting an edge or not, I don't think ball pressure was the game breaker. The Colts absolutely stunk it up.
