for those of u that have ever wondered. the crock pot is the best way to cook a squirrel, i prefer bbq sauce (homemade of course) and i usually smoke em, but i only had one and wasnt gonna fire the smoker up for that. could be the best squirrel ive ever eaten, i wont post a picture because it look like something u cooked in a crock pot (really moist and falling off the bone) plus ive already eaten half of it.

 

That is a good way. I really like squirrel fried.

Well i know what tires i need to add to the list of possibilities for my next set.

 

I eat a lot of aligator (in FL) and it's the best chicke/beef kinda inbetween you can get lol

 

a poisonous snake in the south east states. rabbit is all white meat and it kind of taste like turkey to me. squirrel is a little darker meat and it taste like squirrel ha. its a similar texture to chicken i guess and i mean its much closer to chicken than beef or fish, but its a little different

 

better than the cheef/bicken/(maybe some pork too so porfkin?) that u get from snappin turtle?

 

i like to smoke everything (but it takes a lot of rolling paper for rabbits) but im very please with the crock pot squirrel and the rabbit would be good in it too but a rabbit is usually no where near as tough as a squirrel so i've done some in the oven that turned out good. i've had my fair share of fried rabbits and squirrel and both grilled, baked, and smoked. If rabbits got as big as deer, i prolly wouldnt deer hunt anymore, much anyway. other than maybe quail, its my favorite wild game.

 

Snapper meat is like chicken marinated in fish juice.

 

ur doing something wrong. like maybe not washing it or something. there are 3 different colored meat in a snapper and if u cook it in a pressure cooker with a little pepper sauce, parts taste like beef roast, parts taste like pork loin, and other parts taste like rotisserie chicken

I just can't acquire a taste for it. Not a huge game meat fan. I'll eat venison maybe some game birds that's about it.

if u have a large animal vet that u know pretty well, the next time he/she castrates a bunch of bulls, get him to same them oysters and and get a razor blade and shuck them things out, batter em up like chicken fingers and deep fry em. they taste like country fried steak and have the consistancy of catfish fillets
