I would rather use my driving abilities than rely on ABS.
I have used ABS & disabled on all road & off-road surfaces in all conditions. and I can tell you that Non-ABS is safer & stops in shorter distances.

 

Well apparently its either deal with ABS or buy 2016 Tacoma with crappy engine out of the Highlander.
Well time to relocate ABS fuse for easy removal

I don't mind it oddly enough if im just driving on a normal day.... but that being said i feel the post i hit last year was due to the ABS. I was going 10km/h and it caused me to spin in away where i had no control and hit it.... i was doing well and close to dodging it until the ABS kicked in... 10k later... Sigghhhhh

 

This is my experience as well, because I can actually drive. I learned young, in the snow, on hills, etc. I did autocross, 4WD stuff, and just lots of twisty miles over the 45+ years since I started out in a home made go-kart.

For 90% of the . . . ummm . . . "drivers" out there, ABS will be better overall.

But, to a good driver, it's like taking away the clutch and letting a computer shift the gears. FAR inferior performance in any close situation.

To a typical "driver", well giving the general public automatic transmissions likely saves them millions of accidents a year. Think of it.
