So I went by bdm today. Got referred to Brian the owner. Sent him the pics from gramps. He said he was in to hook us all up. I'm going by sometime this week to get it done. No prices mentioned, wonder what the going rate is. Hopefully less than 250

Sweet my reroute with new muffler was $300 out the door. Honestly if you just getting a reroute AND a hook up it should be under $200.

I ordered some mag mount antennas for them. Also power adapters and remote mikes.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay close enough attention on Amazon and the antenna adapters are on the slow boat from China.
Obviously, a $400+ mobile ham radio would be better and more powerful, but these will be sub $100 setups and should work great on the trail. Plus they will work on any of the "walkey talkey" channels should someone not have a cb.

Yep!!! It's about time. My RTT is set up in the back yard on top the table. Went and got some 1.5" HREW to do some test bends.

Now onto the design stage....well maybe I should finish reinforcing the base of the bender first....

But this weekend is supposed to have some good weather.....Need to figure out the priorities
