Don't get me wrong...I GENUINELY appreciate those of you that do have them, especially when they are painted flamboyant colors like red and Smurfette blue. You enable me to sleep-in in the morning and let you guys get a head start. I catch up and just follow the rainbow.

Get a quote for a clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and throwout bearing then.

I used to run a stage 2 clutch with a 38lbs flywheel installed like a month after I got the truck... I am back to stock stuff now for about 20k miles.. the other stuff was harsh as hell and was i felt a contributing factor to my driveshaft and rear gear issues.

I have a local mechanic help with the big jobs I cant do on my own and hes less than 1/3 the cost you guys were quoted.

I have replaced throwout bearing slave cylinder assemblies in my old pile of shit jeep 2x times myself with my dads tools .. not fun at all.

First attempt.. 2 days.. Second attempt 6 hours.. $80 dealer only part that would give out annually.. for no reason.

But I have never heard of a flex plate before or at least cant remember since I dont own automatics.

That was just the quote going by the hrs in the FSM if imagine it'd be a lot cheaper once the realized what it actually consisted of but I'd rather do it myself anyways. Haven't dropped my transmission since the 4wd swap anyways :D

Yeah. When I was getting quotes, the local dealership told me $550 in labor for a clutch job.
