I decided to start an Official TRD Pro and TX Baja thread. I figured there could be a dedicated thread to see pictures, share info, mods, upgrades, etc between fellow owners of these Elite Tacomas

No worries. Not sure there is any difference between the TX Pro, and TRD Pro, is there?

You're right. The Baja TX guys joined us over in that thread also. But you guys actually got suspension upgrades.

Us TX Pro and TX guys are the wheels, steps, or trd exhaust guys. The Baja and trd pro guys got the actual suspension upgrade stuff. Along with wheels and maybe trd exhaust.

Gotcha. I thought the TX Pro had the suspension upgrade too. Thanks for the clarification. :)

I would be peanut butter jealous of the Bajas as that's what I really wanted before they were all gone and the Pro came out ;) but I am up for it! Is there not an official thread for the Baja's

Thanks! I have always wanted a Baja and finally got one last June.

    Upgrades include:
    TRD front skid plate
Wet Okole seat covers all around
    WeatherTechs front and back
    Rear bumper crash attenuator
    Console safe

I use fuelly.com to track my mpgs. It's a great site that calculates fuel costs per year, cost per mile, best mpgs, lowest price per gallon paid - all kinds of stuff - great site, highly recommend.

Looking forward to seeing your Pro!

Nice, I like the way your baja looks. Always wanted one, but never was able to get a hold of one. The only picture I have is the one at the dealership when I first got it. I'll put it on the first post. I am happy with the options it came with. The only thing I don't like is the tube steps. I prefer none or the running board option Toyota offers.

I kept the tonneau cover from my truck, it was a Rollbak, but sold it. Now I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with the bed. Do you have anything on the bed?

I'll have to check out that website.. looks cool!

Congrats on the Pro and kudus for this thread. Hopefully it will stay sane and not get a lot of "Pro Bashers" posting up.

    Here's my '14 Baja:

    A couple days after delivery.

A couple weeks later, added a custom grill and Bestop. Went on a 3000-mile road trip.

A couple months in, ditched the Bestop, got the American Truck Cover for the bed.

    Some attempts at off-roading:

Slid off a muddy trail, came resting on its side, and popped the bead on the front tire.

New armor skids ready to go on:

I am planning to upgrade the front springs to Eibach 700 lbs/in to handle the additional weight and also Dakar leaf springs for the rear.
