as the title said, im looking to buy some stock steel 5 lug 14" rims but would rather not be taking my tires off in the parking lot to check the fit. also if I did this what is the most critical fit to test? the front hub or the back hub?

so if I find "any" 5 lug 14" rim out there at the salvage yard on a Toyota truck, should I assume it will fit on mine?

those guys are idiots, they just give me a dumb look and say "well they don't make rims like that anymore so I cant look it up in the computer" so if they don't sell it they cant tell me anything about it except my truck isn't listed.

Incredible response... We give you legit advice and yet instead of actually trying to call them and ask them a normal question related what wheels specs are for each generation of Toyota trucks you lash out and say that everyone is an idiot. you asked so obviously you do not know either..

    Here's a tip.. Google.com

I hear that has all the answers you desire, (results may vary).

    :crapstorm:

I don't know who you spoke to, but the fellas at Les Schwab gave me the answer when I called.

I would give you the answer they gave me, but you wouldn't learn anything from it, except to become dependent upon others to provide for you and to solve your problems. So, let this be a learning moment and take the initiative and call them.

    hold on there elmo

I said the tire guys are idiots who cant do anything unless its on there computer screen, most of em around here are full of guys who barely speak English anymore.

why the hell would you think I was referring to the guys who posted here

yes I tried google and just like in your link it says nothing about 14" rims except for 95-97 trucks but they had 14" 5 lug rims on t-100 trucks and tacomas from 95-2000 plus my truck isn't even shown as having 14" rims on it.

incomplete and inaccurate info is why I asked here to get true and confirmed accurate advice from people who know what they are talking about, not some random website with rehashed inaccurate info.

yes I learned something from your post, not everyone at this site is willing to help you.
