With the +0 offset can the TRD center cap from the 16" TRD Beadlock work on this wheel, on a 4x4?

    Thanks!

    PM coming.

The F5 cannot accept a center cap of any kind. It was designed this way so there isn't a lip for the TRD cap to snap on to.

If I had one wish, it would be for you guys to make a 16'' version of the Stealth 6's...

Can't decide between matte black or gunmetal F-5's though.

For all you 2nd Gen guys running this wheel with a 3.5" backspacing and 265/75 tire, did you have any rubbing?

I'm on the waitlist for this wheel, but I do not want to do the cab mount chop. I have a 2.5" suspension lift.

Maybe I should direct this to you, Vin!

I was curious about this as well. Leaning more towards 4.5" bs now though.

If you absolutely do not want to do the CMC mod then I suggest you stick with 4.5" bs. With this BS, there's less rubbing issues.

But how can you say no to this:cool:
    AEF385F4-E939-458E-A6AA-18D5EC8EAF8A-933_d9853302a0b67f32490565ce6d74ff09b03c7bab.jpg

The CMC mod is so easy to take care of that it shouldn't really be an issue. Any decent welder can knock it out in 1-2 hours total with beer breaks in between.

Understood. Did the truck in this picture have the CMC done? I'm warming up to it, but don't want to do it just to do it. In particular, I'll be running 265/75 on 16's and want to know if a 3.5" bs will rub without the CMC. If it won't rub, then there's no need for me to do it.

I don't think this particular member did the chop. If you don't mind a little rubbing noise every now when the wheels are turned then you can leave it as is. Setting your caster to max positive will help as well.

If you do plan to offroad then it is highly recommended to get it done. Most folks do it b/c they need too.

265's and 3.5 BS will not rub, and even if you make contact it will be minimal. CMC I doubt will be necessary, at most a little plastic trimming.

If you said 285's, no doubt CMC all the way.

Noteworthy, if you push the caster forward you will run into the front plastics. These trucks are tricky with bigger tires and are basically trial and error. Welcome to the joy!

    Thanks for the input guys,

I'm still in for a set of 5, already on the waitlist.

I most definitely will be wheeling, so I guess I'll schedule a CMC.

    Cheers!

Next question - I'd like to know what TPMS sensor work (without flipping them 180 degrees, as some shops don't like to do that) with these wheels.

If you have a link you could send me, that would be awesome.

    Thanks in advance!

I like to recommend the factory Toyota sensors, but any new ones will need to be reprogrammed by Toyota. Otherwise, it might be better to talk to your local tire shop and see what they have to offer. Whatever they sell, they can program it for you right on the spot so it would be one less thing to worry about.

I am running 285s with the 4.5 bs and no rubbing, but it matters what lift you have, I am close to 3 in in front and I clear everything, 1" or 2 " and CMC might be needed.

Same set up here: 285/4.5BS and about 2.75"-3" of lift...
Lift can help not rub as long as you don't flex but not so much wheeling.... I was rubbing like mofo when wheeling... cmc, fender and flares trimming and a lot of + caster and I'm OK now.
I now sometimes rub the front bumper when going down hill in off camber situation but nothing to worry about.
