Wet Okole Group Buy (Ends 10/11/09)

WEAK!!....no additional discount!? I am dissapointed. I really think Steve @ WO should step up to the plate on this one. He should give us TW members a chance to purchase what we say we will... I say we make an official sign up thread and go back to him again about it before thursday the first. We are helping him out durring the slow time for his company and we are purchasing a substantial ammount of covers...to the tune of more than 25 thousand bucks...even if some people back out...we should still have a good ammount more than the 20% discount offered if we rounded up 100 rows... 163 ROWS DESEERVES MORE THAN A 20% DISCOUNT!!

 

So I can get covers for both mine and Scion? Or does she need to be a member?

I agree. $235.00 x 100 = 23,500.00 and thats for the basic covers. Just about everyone here wants more than just a basic cover. 23,500 at a 25% discount is 17625. That is hell of alot of money to make in one month. I say we wait untill untill Oct 10th or a lil before, and see where we stand on the amount of rows and talk to him again.

 

we have waited all summer for this group buy...we can wait just a bit longer and push for 25%...dont buy these on the 1st guys! lets make this group buy worth it!

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but firefighters/police/military can already get 20% off with a discount, so I would definitely push for more than this standard discount if we have over 150 orders. Just my .02 ...I could go ahead and order with the discount, but I'm going to wait and be a team player, so let's push for 25%!

 

i personally would love for a 25% discount, but i dont think waiting or doing anything to get him to give us a 25% discount will help. He doesn't even necessarily have to give us a 20% discount let alone a 25% discount. It's a rough economy and he's helping us out by giving us a discount in the first place. I'm goin through with it either way.

 

25% would be a steal but I'll most likely go through with the group buy at 20% anyways.

 

To answer the question, Yes you will begin sending me your info on October 1st. The last day to send me your info is Sunday, October 11th.

You will then call Wet Okole Monday, October 12th- October 23rd.

Well guys, to be honest with you, I think we should just be grateful for the 20% discount. I agree that we have a substantial amount of orders and a bigger discount would be better but I think we're forgetting that Wet Okole doesnt even have to give us a group buy discount, they could just make a extra 20% profit. Additionally, the boycott of ordering until we get a better discount will only result in a possible loss of group buy option for future members. Lets appreciate what we got and show Wet Okole that TW members appreciate group buys and are easy to deal with.

Im still in if its only a 20% discount....but 20% is a standard discount given by WO....of course they dont have to offer us anything- I agree that its a rough economy- we are doing WO a favor by rounding up a huge order for them in the off season!....they should be thanking us with an extra 5% dicount....you guys are acting like it hurts to push for a 25% discount...personally-I have negotiated prices in wal-mart...sounds to me like alot of you enjoy paying retail prices
