Ok so i found a supercharger!
    This is what im thinking.
Add a 2.2 pulley to her and a meth/H20 Injection
    walla done? right?

    Will this work?
any idea how to tune one of these kits? what psi should it start spraying approx?
    what Size of nozzle?

Im a newbie to Superchargers as it is but they seem much less complicated then the turbos iv been dealing with .
also meth injection. I know lots of guys did that to hi power 3sgtes but iv never needed to .

If i can avoid all these piggy backs 7th injectors yada yada yada with an meth injection kit why not?

I'm not too familiar with meth injection, but I think you would be good to go except you may want something to tune to timing. Check out this guys build: http://www.yotatech.com/f79/texas_ace-profile-my-2000-4runner-limited-4x4-build-up-123032/

He's big into meth :p. Should answer a lot of your questions.

Man you're getting me excited. First $80 leather heated power seats and now already found a charger. How much did you find it for if you don't mind me asking?

URD 7th is so much more reliable and less crap to worry about...and you never run out of methanol/water.

This as well. A malfunctioning meth kit while you're running at high boost with little to no timing pulled = bomb.

I wouldn't bother putting $ into the meth kit just put that towards the 7th kit.

im running the exact setup you are thinking about.. had the supercharger that came with a 2.2 pulley and ran it on stock fuel and i would get some minor ping under 2800rpm.. the ecu only adjusts timing after 3k rpm... i put a wideband gauge on it and i was getting high 12s for my air fuel ratio.. at high rpms the ecu pulled enough timing to make it run ok, but at low rpm WOT i got the knock..

i put a devils own meth kit (under $300) on and used the washer fluid tank as my reservoir.. im running a very mild 3gph nozzle that injects right before the throttle body.. i tried 50:50 water meth but it feels so much better just running 100% meth..

i have done no tuning, other than adjusting the meth ratio and its an easy 20-30 whp gain.. i now run mid to low 11s as far as air/fuel ratios go which is very healthy.. if you run a meth kit you must have either a wideband gauge or a egt gauge, that way you can monitor how the motor is running in real time.. if for some reason the system stops working or you run out of meth you will see it on the gauge immediately..

also i probably fill my res once a month, and my psi switch is set to spay at 1psi.. this is my DD so i usually get 3-5 fillups for every gallon of meth i use.. however when i go to glamis or whatever where i am running the truck hard i can use a whole gallon in less than a day.. i recently have started towing a 4000lb trailer and i really cant imagine towing it without this kit, it is very nice to be able to punch it at 2k rpms and get 5+ lbs of boost with no knock/ping pulling up a grade for 5 minutes or more strait just boosting with no worries...

as for power its very noticeable, i used to max out on the sand drags around 65-70(with no meth), and this last time i went i hit 87mph..

the 7th inj kit may be better for a hassle free experience, but the Meth kit is not as annoying as it sounds and will produce better results because it cools your intake charge better.

    Perfect!
So your just running the 3gph nozzle?
and starting her at 1lb of boost?
Perfect thats where i will start. I havent ordered a wideband yet. Maybe i could take the one outta the alltrac for tuning purpose then just put it back in once i got er dialed in.
    Thanks alot for the reply!
TascomerTexas i Paid 1600 plus shipping for the newer style charger, Then got the Colder plugs, and 2.2 pulley. Got a holley injection kit for $150!!!
Also got a stant Thermostat @ 170 degrees.

7th injector cools your intake charge as well. It sprays before the sc rotor and its basically atomized by the time it hits the cylinders. The TRD sc is just an eaton blower that uses it's traditional 3 lob rotor...which to be honest is not the most efficient supercharger design. Anything sprayed before the rotor (be it fuel from a 7th or water/meth) will help seal the rotor to the housing, which in turn will help prevent heat from backflow.

Regardless of what you do, a wideband is strongly recommended on the shortlist. Loud audible pings are easy to hear. It's the constant subtle ones that are harder to hear and detrimental. Wideband takes the guesswork out.

One last food for thought....I live in a place that has snow on the ground 4+ months out of the year....I can't imagine not having my washer fluid resi.
